Havelock Island

Havelock Island

Diglipure

Diglipure

Diglipur (325 Kms., approx. 12 hrs by road from Port Blair) Situated in North Andaman Island, Diglipur provides a rare experience for eco friendly tourists. It is famous for its oranges, rice and marine life. Saddle Peak the highest point in the islands is nearby. Kalpong, the only river of Andaman flows here. The only Hydro-electric project of the islands is on this river.

Baratang Island

This island between South and Middle Andaman has beautiful beaches, mangrove creeks, mud-volcanoes and limestone caves. Andaman Trunk Road to Rangat and Mayabunder goes through this island. Limestone cave can be explored with the permission of Forest Department at Baratang and proper local guidance.

Jolly Buoy Island

Jolly Buoy Island

Jolly Buoy is a part of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. It is one of the two islands open for tourists along with Red Skin Island. The island is famous for its amazing marine life and Snorkeling.
It is allowed for the tourists to access the open upper deck of the jetty and this makes the journey quiet enjoyable.

Mayabunder Beach

Mayabunder is second largest Tehsil or Division in Andaman and Nicobar Islands with an area of 1,348 sq km. It is located about 136 km away by sea way and 240 km by Road way from Port Blair. Mayabunder town serves as administrative District headquarter of North and Middle Andaman.

Karmatang Beach

Karmatang Beach

Karmatang Beach is a turtle nesting ground located just 13 km from Mayabunder Jetty. You can reach to Kalighat (Diglipur) through the creek by boat from this beach. In the season during December to February is best to travel here to view nesting of turtles.

Rampur Beaches

Rampur is a small beach holds less shades and a nearby mangrove forest. You can also travel to Rampur Village to know the cultures rural people. How to reach: If you planned to visit at Mayabunder then you should first reach at Port Blair. After that you can travel to Mayabunder with a Ferry from Phownix Bay Jetty of Port Blair or travel by a Bus.
